Welcome to Rick Anton Brewster Photography.

Hello and welcome to my page. I am now admittedly a middle aged man (which I don’t want to believe), husband, father and grandfather. I got into photography seriously in my early 40’s.  I’ve always loved taking pictures and art in general. In my youth, before I picked up a guitar, I wanted to be an artist. I would love to draw and paint for hours, but when I was about 16 I picked up a guitar and I was hooked and spent the next 30 years with it. The older I got the more I came to the reality I didn’t have the drive to continue down than path as a musician. I still wanted to find a way to be creative and keep myself busy so I picked up a camera and truly enjoy this creative outlet.

I hope that people just enjoy what I’ve been able to capture and see things from a different perspective. Black and white is by far my favorite way to process a photo. They always seem to be timeless and invoke a different emotion than color.

 I love color as when taking pictures of the starry desert night sky, nighttime photos, fall colors or of course sunrise and sunset.
